PARTNERS

We are asking God to raise a team of partners and friends to join us in fulfilling the mission God has called us to accomplish. We need a team to pray with and for us. We hope to see many lost people come to know Jesus, which can only happen through the power of prayer. We are also asking God to provide a team of financial partners to help us raise $300,000.00 annually.

The funds we receive will go to support the ministry in the following areas:

1. Support For Us
Kristy and I will travel stateside to gather partners who will support the mission. We will recruit a training staff to help lead marriage retreats and leadership conferences and seminars beginning in Mexico and the Caribbean. We will host team building retreats for the leaders already serving in Latin America and the Caribbean. These retreats provide encouragement, rest, a time of prayer and seeking God so that we can follow His lead together.

2. Stateside Team

Development of a stateside team/office staff to assist the mission in areas of administration, communication, and logistical support.
Our new organization is being born and we need to let people and churches know what God is calling us to do so they can join us and help with this important mission. We can’t do it alone—we need the administrative, organizational and planning support to carry out trainings, encouragement conferences and retreats for leaders and their spouses. This support staff will also aid in critical communication with support families, leadership teams, participating churches, other ministry organizations and national leaders.

3. International Team

Development of an international team of leaders that will grow and oversee the mission in Latin America.
Some are national leaders native to Latin America, some are American Missionaries living in Latin America and others are American and Latin American leaders living in the U.S. who will travel to Latin America to help train and equip leaders. The growth is already happening through the existing churches that are part of the network and are spreading naturally on their own. Another way is through contacts in other countries such as through friends, family members and churches who want to see the Gospel spread in their region of Latin America and the Caribbean.

4. Conferences

Leadership conferences and marriage retreats in different countries. This often requires us to pay for transportation as well as room and board for those attending the conferences, etc.
Marriage retreats are important because we discovered years ago that it was the neglected area of ministry development, encouragement and training. We feel that to have a spiritually healthy movement of churches the leaders and their marriages need to be healthy as well.

5. Curriculum & Training

Creation of training curriculum for leadership development.
We have a team made up of volunteer and paid staff, who are helping in the area of curriculum creation. We will publish a list of office equipment and resources that we will need to get started, so that people can help us with equipment and office furniture that they might want to purchase or donate.

6. Leadership

Assistance and support for strategic national leaders and their families as needed.
These leaders are critical to the success of the movement—because they, along with their spouses and families are the point of the spear. They will help us expand the movement and take it to new regions and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. We need to resource them, encourage them, train them, and support them so that they can do the job that they need to do. Most of them are bi-vocational leaders or tent makers who already have a secular job and are supporting themselves. Others will be full time missionaries and will need our support to carry out their part of the vision.

7. Coaching & Mentoring

Development of a coaching and mentoring program for young leaders.
The reason a movement like this is important is because it instantly and perfectly fits in the context of the culture where the seed of the Gospel is being planted. Why? Because it is NOT focused on programs or buildings which are instantly culturally limited, but on relationships which are versatile, mobile and flexible. It is a friend inviting another friend to a meet at a coffee shop and growing a small group of believers in that context. It shortcuts years of missionary training to speak a new language and understand a different and changing culture-- because the focus is training leaders, not doing it ourselves. It is also relevant to the new generation of young adults because they are tired of the traditional church they came from and want to see the real Jesus lived out in real lives.
