We are Partnering with Vision USA, led by Dr. Tony Webb and his wife Cathy, with whom we have already worked to start church-planting movements in Mexico and the Caribbean. Mariano Azcִárate and Jon Baker have helped us train the first cohort of leaders that are responsible for over 70 churches to date using the GSE process (Gatherer-Shepherd-Elder). I spent a week of prayer and fasting at a camp in northern Ohio called, “Skyview Ranch.” Here I was able to seek God’s face and ask for His guidance and direction in this new ministry. It was a beautiful and picturesque location where I was able to disconnect from the world and embrace time alone in God’s presence.
God has used this time for both Kristy and I to renew our spirits and encourage our hearts with a passion to see God work in us and through us for His glory. We hope to see many grow into faithful and healthy disciples of Jesus. We have spent a lot of time together including a vacation to Myrtle Beach where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets, great Southern cuisine, and visiting beautiful locations.
God is putting together an amazing ministry team to help start Vision Latin America. I thank God and celebrate the many gifted and dedicated team memers who are helping out in areas such as finances, administration, marketing, website design, data-entry, video, social media, legal matters, accounting, strategic planning, etc.
We had our first ministry team meeting and it was a wonderful time of sharing and praying together. We feel that God has put this team together for His glory.
We have several planning and encouragement trips to Mexico and the Caribbean scheduled for the coming months. We will be having our first board meeting with a go dly team of leaders. We are still in the application stage of Vision Latin America becoming a legal entity. Please pray for a quick approval process.
Pray for Kristy and I to remain spiritually steadfast and emotionally healthy in our marriage as the stresses of ministry and travel begin to increase in the days to come.
Pray for safety and health for those of us who will be traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean.
Pray that each person who is involved on this journey with us would be sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
Pray for unity and direction with our sta , our team of missionary leaders, and our board members as we share life and serve together
